The Junior Gryphons House League Program is Guelph's recreational basketball program for youth ages 5-18. Designed for players of all skill levels, the program focuses on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating a positive basketball experience.

Program Highlights

What's Included

The House League season runs from October through February and includes 14-16 weekly sessions. Younger athletes focus on learning fundamentals, while older divisions combine skill development with game play and scrimmages.

Getting Started is Easy

The Junior Gryphons House League Program is open to players of all skill levels. No tryouts are required, and registration is completed online through TeamSnap. Registration opens in June and will close in September (or when the divisions fill up).

Step 1: Register Online

Complete your player's registration through TeamSnap.

Step 2: Receive Confirmation

Families will receive program details and important season updates before the start of the season.

Step 3: Attend October Opening Day

Players will meet coaches, collect their player package, and learn more about the upcoming season.

Step 4: Hit the Court

Weekly sessions begin in October and continue throughout the season.

House League FAQs

The House League Program is a recreational program focused on skill development, participation, and fun for players of all skill levels. The Rep Program is a competitive program that requires athletes to participate in tryouts and compete against teams from across Ontario.
